Mathew Hayden retiring


1. World famous Australian opener Mathew Hayden (Queensland Cricketer, Hamshire player) announced his retirement from the World Cricket.
2. Hayden has been the most consistant batsman over the world since 2000.
3. Haydens display against India in India is admirable in 2001 Indian tour his average was 110. It was amazing.
4. Hayden breaks Lara's World record by scoring 380 in Perth (Aus) against Zimbabwe on 10-10-2003.
5. In 2002 he bagged Allan Border Medal.He bagged Wisden Cricker of the year in 2003.
6.He is a powerful and aggressive left hand batsman,he has an ability to score quickly at both test and one day he formed test opening partnership with Justin Langer.
7.His debute was in the year 1993-94 season against South Africa at Johannesburg.
8.Hayden scored over 1000 test runs in 2001,2002,2003,2004 and 2005,the first man to achieve the feat five times in the history of Cricket.
